Genius Loci is located in the very heart of green Umbria,
a land of millenary art, industrious craftsmanship and historical

Bevagna, Perugia, Spello, Foligno, Orvieto, Spoleto.
Furthermore, the easy and quick access to the “Sun Highway”
and to the European Route E45, allows to visit the major tourist
resorts of Tuscany and Marche.Among several paths of Umbrian handicraft, from lace-making
to ceramics, from ironwork to woodworking, from printworks to
textiles, from goldsmith art to glassware, this villa is located in
the same area of the ancient production of terracotta, also known
for the refined workmanship of cashmere typical in Ripabianca,
and at short distance from Deruta, the Umbrian capital of the
worldwide known majolica.Since ancient times, in every season of the year a number of different
enogastronomic events are being held during seasonal fairs, with
excellent wines and other delicious products of country tradition.Furthermore, during different seasons Umbria hosts a number
of musical events recalling large audience, including international
public, mostly when jazz concerts take place.
LOCATIONS – The House
A hand-carved stone slab near the entrance introduces guests to the house, as a well-whishing symbol. The image on the stone depicts the Genius Loci i.e. the propitious “Spirit of place”, the deity who, according to the ancient Romans was tied to a particular place, up to be its soul. The villa is a newly-built typical Umbrian mansion, decorated with
prestigious materials, offering to guests a stay of great beauty
and full of charm, due to its sober elegance and the opportunity

In this simple countryside environment, whoever stays
here is welcome, sharing the ancient and soft atmosphere of the villa. In every period of the year and in each season, visitors are
granted intense scents, tastes and colors, which may be experienced
mainly during a number of different local fairs and events.The villa is disposed on two floors connected together
internally by a stone staircase. From the living room guests may
access a large external patio facing a fenced park all around the
house. In the park, at few steps from the entrance is situated a
swimming pool with salt water, hydromassage, shower and solarium,
a gazebo and a parking lot.The main entrance introduces into the living room, lit by large
windows, as part of an open space including also the dining
room with fireplace, also communicating with the patio and the
kitchen. From the dining room guests may access the patio,
while from the kitchen a glass door leads to the gazebo area
in the garden. From the dining room visitors get to a small hallway
taking to a double bedroom with divisible beds, a double bedroom with
joinable beds and two bathrooms with shower. From the dining-room a
stone staircase leads to the first floor composed of a master bedroom
with a small balcony facing the countryside, and en-suite bathroom
with Jacuzzi tub and shower. On the ground floor, next to the door of
the kitchen there is the laundry room, accessible via the garden.
In addition to six sleeping places, guests have also available an extra
single-bed, to meet any other requirements.
