Umbria Jazz
Perugia. Umbria Jazz takes place during 10 days between the first and the second week of July in Perugia. The added value of this festival is given by the participation of international high-level artists in the world of jazz music, and additionally by the ancient town settings surrounding the event and giving the atmosphere an innovative hue.
A festival targeted to attentive and motivated listeners, which however does not reject anyone, not even those who want to spend a serene holyday in Umbria, with the soundtrack of jazz, soul, rythm & blues, blues, gospel, pop and salsa.
Three aspects can be appreciated in Umbria jazz: the evenings at the arena, where most famous artists are on stage (not necessarily for a specialist public); the afternoons and nights at the theatre in the sign of jazz; open-air free shows, with most popular and appealing genres, without forgetting jazz courses in the most prestigious jazz school in the world.

Sintesijazz – Perugia
Perugia. Sintesijazz is considered the winter Umbria Jazz season, when 10 concerts take place according to a timetable from November to May.
Launched in 2001, however it gave rise to a number of meetings organized since Fifties by Perugia Jazz Club.

Umbria Jazz Winter – Orvieto (Tr)
The winter edition of the International Jazz Music Festival has become a traditional most relevant musical event. Usually it takes place between the end of December and the beginning of January. The event involves most famous artists in the world, appearing in the streets, squares and in the most suggestive places in town, where the sounds of a refined and cultured jazz meet and mix together, creating an immersive, sparkling, unusual atmosphere. Several concerts also accompany relax moments, such as Jazz Lunch and Dinner, during which visitors can appreciate good food while listening fine music. During Winter Umbria Jazz, Orvieto offers fascinating sounds at every hour of the day until the night. Main scheduled events include: New Year’s Eve dinner, the Concert for Peace with Gospel singers in the magnificent Cathedral Duomo in the afternoon of New Year’s Day.
